Refund & Cancellation Policy
SH Mobile Veterinary Nursing Services

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

​SH Mobile Veterinary Nursing Services provides professional in-home veterinary nursing care. Due to the nature of mobile services, including travel, scheduling, and individualized preparation, the following refund and cancellation terms apply.

Appointments & Cancellations

Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Appointments cancelled with 24 hours or more notice will not be charged.

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment for future services.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Fees are non-refundable in circumstances including, but not limited to, the following:

  • The appointment cannot proceed due to undisclosed or inaccurately disclosed behavioural or safety concerns, including fear, anxiety, aggression, or bite risk.

  • Pre-visit medication, when previously discussed or recommended by the attending veterinarian for safety, was not administered prior to the appointment.

  • The service environment is determined to be unsafe or unsuitable at the time of the visit.

  • Services are modified, paused, or discontinued in the interest of safety for the pet, the Registered Veterinary Technician, or others present.

Services Rendered

Once veterinary nursing services have been initiated or provided, fees are non-refundable, regardless of outcome or client perception of effectiveness. Veterinary nursing care involves inherent variability, and no guarantees of outcome are expressed or implied.

Emergency Care

SH Mobile Veterinary Nursing Services does not provide emergency veterinary services. In the event of an emergency, clients are responsible for contacting their attending veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary clinic.

Refund Processing

Any refund approved at the discretion of SH Mobile Veterinary Nursing Services will be issued using the original method of payment, within a reasonable processing timeframe.

Agreement

By booking an appointment and completing the intake form, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy, the Client Waiver & Consent, and the Terms & Conditions.
