SH Mobile does not provide veterinary diagnosis, prescribe medications, or establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR).

2. Scope of Practice

All services are performed strictly within the legislated scope of practice for a Registered Veterinary Technician in Ontario. Services may include, but are not limited to:

SH Mobile reserves the right to decline any service that falls outside professional, ethical, or legal boundaries.

SH Mobile does not provide emergency veterinary services. In the event of an emergency, clients must contact their attending veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary clinic.

3. Veterinary Authorization

Certain services require prior veterinary assessment, authorization, or prescription. Clients are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Their pet has an established relationship with a licensed veterinarian

Services may be declined, postponed, or discontinued if appropriate veterinary oversight is not confirmed.

4. Appointments & Scheduling

  • Appointment requests are subject to review and confirmation.

  • Submission of an intake or inquiry form does not guarantee service.

5. Client Disclosure Obligations

Clients must provide accurate and complete information regarding:

  • Medical history and current medications

  • Behavioural concerns, including fear, anxiety, aggression, or bite history

  • Environmental factors that may affect safe service delivery

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in immediate cancellation or termination of services.

6. Safety & Handling

The safety of the patient, client, and service provider is paramount.

SH Mobile may refuse, pause, or discontinue services if:

  • A patient cannot be handled safely

  • Recommended pre-visit pharmaceutical support has not been administered

  • The environment is unsafe or unsuitable

  • Client requests conflict with professional judgment or safety protocols

No service will be performed under conditions deemed unsafe.

7. Fees & Payment

  • Fees are communicated prior to booking.

  • Payment terms are specified at the time of scheduling or service.

  • Fees may include service charges, visit or travel fees, and applicable taxes.

SH Mobile reserves the right to revise pricing with notice.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are outlined in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Booking a service constitutes acceptance of that policy.

9. Clinical Outcomes

SH Mobile makes no guarantees regarding medical or therapeutic outcomes. Response to services such as laser therapy varies based on individual patient factors and underlying conditions.

  • Outcomes resulting from incomplete or inaccurate client-provided information

  • Delays, cancellations, or service modifications due to safety concerns, illness, weather, or other uncontrollable circumstances
