Service Description

Anal sacs can become full, impacted, or uncomfortable, leading to scooting, licking, odor, or irritation. This appointment includes a gentle, digital (internal) expression to fully empty the glands and help relieve pressure. Calm, fear-aware handling techniques are used throughout to keep your pet as comfortable as possible. Any abnormal findings—such as pain, swelling, thickened secretions, or asymmetry—are discussed with you and communicated directly to your pet’s attending DVM for appropriate follow-up.
