Maintaining continuity of care is a central component of SH Mobile Veterinary Nursing Services. Following each visit, a written Home Visit Summary Report can be provided to the attending veterinarian to help keep the veterinary team informed of patient progress, treatment compliance, and any concerns identified in the home environment.

Home visits often provide unique insights into a patient's daily routine, treatment challenges, mobility, comfort, and caregiver experience that may not always be apparent during a hospital appointment.

Reports can be tailored to the needs of the attending veterinarian and may be provided following individual visits or as part of an ongoing treatment plan.

Sonia Holicova, BSc., RVT, is a practicing Registered Veterinary Technician with more than two decades of experience spanning clinical practice, diagnostics, emergency medicine, research, therapeutic laser therapy, and client education. She has developed a reputation for finding practical solutions to complex patient-care challenges while maintaining a strong focus on patient welfare, client education, and continuity of care.

Throughout her career, she has developed a particular interest in clinical pathology and cytology, fear-conscious handling, chronic disease management, and supporting caregivers through complex home-care plans. She is known for her collaborative approach, strong diagnostic skills, and commitment to helping patients who require a more individualized approach to care.

Sonia is the recipient of the OVMA Veterinary Technician Excellence Award and maintains RECOVER CPR certification.

Through SH Mobile Veterinary Nursing Services, she works collaboratively with veterinary teams to help patients receive ongoing nursing care in the comfort of their homes while maintaining continuity with their primary hospital and supporting the treatment plan established by the attending veterinarian.
